Men’s Groups – A Definition and Commission
First, one might wonder how men’s groups is any different from a woman’s ministry or for that matter, any kind of ministry. After all, it would seem that ministry, if done in service for the Lord, is all the same regardless of the gender, age, or race of the individual serving.
So, Men’s Ministry is the active pursuit of men in order to connect them to God, His Word, and other men for the purpose of winning, growing, and training God’s man in Christ.
What we Know
We know one thing for sure — God will use the heart and life of anyone who chooses to make himself available to Him. Because, the Bible says, “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.” Therefore, this is the great commission spoken by Jesus Himself. In other words, Jesus Christ is commissioning His followers to go into the entire world and reproduce believers. This is a big calling.
Finally, this raises some questions. After all, how do we reproduce believers? Inasmuch, should a men’s groups enable a man to better understand his calling in life and how to achieve it? And how can a men’s groups challenge a man to grow deeper in intellect, and emotion, and spirit? Will a men’s groups teach men how to stay sexually pure, in hopes, to ensure clear headed mindset to follow the teachings of God? The answer to this question is a resounding yes!

We are here to provide each other support, accountability and learn what it takes to escape the bondage of sexual addiction. Addiction might be what gets us through the door but God is why we are here.

Whether you are a new believer, someone who has fallen away from your faith, or just want a fresh start, this 6 week small group discussion will help introduce you to basic principles of our faith. We will discuss the fundamental purposes God has laid out for you in the bible as well as how the bible is structured and read. Our hope is that you will come away with a new or renewed relationship with Jesus Christ and learn how to stay connected in a very personal way. You don’t need to bring anything with you; however, if you wish to get all you can out of it, bring a bible (red letter preferable) and something to take notes with.

Our goal is to remain authentic, vulnerable, open & honest. We want to equip and challenge one another as we grow and mature to look more like Jesus. We are tired of the BS once a week church where we wear a collar and jeans and talk sports and weather. We were meant for more. Where are you actively pursuing improvement? How can we pray with and for you along this journey?
